Company turnaround

A quoted music and entertainment company had net losses of £7m per annum. This was reversed into net profits of £5m within a three-year business plan. FIGA also went on to orchestrate the sale of this business to a quoted company in the US for £48 million, including new money.

A niche high-end retail clothing company was making net losses and FIGA was asked to review the business operations. By introducing a wholesale operation into the business, the company now wholesales all over the world with a strong turnover from a number of retail shops in different countries.

Commercial

A client of FIGA required an extensive negotiation of key commercial terms. FIGA was entrusted to head up this negotiation, which resulted in an increase in gross profits of £100k per annum.

Corporate Finance & Legal

A private limited business required urgent funds to bolt onto an initial fund-raising of £3m. FIGA successfully raised £800k of further private equity to support the initial fund-raising, as well as drawing up and executing to signature a shareholders' agreement.

Corporate strategy and finance

FIGA assisted in a new strategy for a quoted music retailer by providing detailed financial analysis of a target company including new retail operations. The quoted retailer went on to make an acquisition buying 50% of the target quoted music group.
